November 2022 Newsletter
Foreword
Greetings from Swabodhini!
After rejuvenating from Navratri and Deepavali celebrations, the month of November was in full swing with academics. The rains, water-logged roads and unexpected holidays – nothing could deter our children from advancing in their paths to achieve their goals. Classes went online happily even on days we had heavy downpours.
As the popular quote “Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together they make this world a beautiful garden” goes, nothing makes us – The Swabodhini family happier than celebrating our precious children! Children’s day was celebrated with great pomp and pleasure with interesting games, singing, dance and what not?!
We are happy to share that our children won the rolling Trophy for this year in the ROTA Talent competition. There were 27 schools and 1400 participants, out of which our student S.S.Hema was awarded as “Good singer” and Ayesha Zhara Farook as “Good dancer” . Sanjay won the third prize in Drawing. Children also participated in the initial rounds of the sports and cultural events organised for the World Disability Day.
A team of professionals from AGS Health visited our school and interacted with our children in the junior classes. After the interaction , they enthusiastically participated in games and yoga sessions along with them. A team of employees from Barclays met us and interacted with our children pursuing vocational courses and also spent time playing and doing yoga with them. They gladly tried their hands at various activities such as jewellery making, weaving, baking etc and appreciated our children for doing these intricate activities well.
We feel honoured and immensely pleased to have Mr. Ramakrishnan, the founder president of Amar Seva Sangam, a recipient of Padma Shri award from the Government of India visiting our campus and interacting with our students.
With the term’s end fast approaching and with the encouragement and positivity from all corners, our staff and children are geared up for the assessments in December.
Meet you with fresh updates next month!
Best Regards
