The Learning life skills provides students with mental disabilities help in developing social/personal, life, and self-concept skills to help them achieve greater self-sufficiency.

Life skills are important for any human being whether or not with special needs. It becomes more important for a child with special needs. The objective of including life skill training program as part of curriculum is to make him independent in his personal care and not be dependent on others for his own basic needs. The curriculum includes fun and engaging activities and lessons to help teachers instruct students in life skills needed to achieve self-sufficiency and success as an independent productive member of society.
