Warm greetings from Swabodhini!

February was an exciting and eventful month as we geared up for our much- anticipated Annual Day. Our children enthusiastically practiced their dance, skit, and song performances, showcasing the remarkable progress they have made through speech and occupational therapy. Their enthusiasm and dedication were truly heartwarming.

Our Founder and Director had the privilege of attending a Think Tank session organized by the Rotary Club of Chennai ECR at Jacob and Klooster Farms. The session brought together key stakeholders to discuss and address the pressing needs of the special needs community.

We were also delighted to welcome Mr. Ajit Mathai from nByom Consulting and Managing Services to our Thiruvanmiyur centre, where he interacted with our students. Adding to the month’s joyful moments, the Inner Wheel Club celebrated Valentine’s Day with our children, creating wonderful memories. We were also honored to host Ms. Jette, Founder of Impaction.org, who participated in our birthday celebrations.

To end the month on a cheerful note, we celebrated the birthdays of our staff and students on February 27th at their respective centres.

Visitors from the Inner Wheel Club brought joy and excitement to our Thiruvanmiyur Centre during their recent visit. They spent quality time engaging with our students and staff, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere. As a token of their generosity, they distributed gifts to all the students and took a moment to honor our dedicated staff members. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Inner Wheel Club for their kindness and support.

The Rotary Club of ECR organized a thought-provoking Think Tank session on 22nd February at Jacob and Klooster Farms. The session focused on shaping and transforming initiatives for special needs communities in Chennai, fostering impactful discussions and innovative ideas. This collaborative effort aims to pave the way for a meaningful Global Grant application, ensuring sustainable support and development for the community. The event brought together passionate individuals committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those with special needs.
